Empowering Women and Youth. Supporting Healthier Communities.
AWYCNCDI is a non-governmental organization registered in Uganda in 2019. We provide health and psychosocial community support to women, youth, people living with non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and people with disabilities.
Through advocacy, capacity building, counseling, screening, research, networking and resource mobilization, we work to improve the quality of life of individuals, families and communities.
Cancer and non-communicable diseases affect individuals, families and communities. AWYCNCDI works to bring health information, support and community-based services closer to the people who need them.
We believe that better health outcomes require more than medical treatment. They require awareness, early action, psychosocial support, community participation and strong partnerships.
